Bridgeview

For managed service providers

Bill every Microsoft 365 seat you actually provisioned.

Bridgeview connects to your clients' M365 tenants, tracks every license assignment and removal as it happens, and turns that history into an invoice you can defend line by line. Monthly close in minutes, not days.

Works with your existing Entra tenants. No agent to deploy.

Your license count changed 40 times last month. Your invoice didn't.

  • You're paying for seats you never billed.

A license added on the 12th and removed on the 26th shows up on Microsoft's bill and nowhere else. Nobody catches it, because nobody is looking at a mid-month snapshot.

  • Monthly close eats two days.

Export a CSV per tenant, reconcile it against last month's, chase the account manager about the three users nobody can identify, then retype it all into the accounting system.

  • The client asks how you got that number.

And the honest answer is a spreadsheet that was overwritten last month, so there’s no way back to show your work.

How it works

From tenant connection to a defensible invoice.

  1. 01

    Connect once.

Register one Entra application, consent it across the client tenants you manage. App-only tokens, read-only where it can be. No per-tenant credentials to store, no agent to install, no scripts on a scheduler.

  2. 02

    Sync every hour.

Bridgeview pulls license assignments from the Microsoft Graph API and records the change history — who got what, and on which day. Billable status is derived from that history, never stored as a flag someone can forget to update.

  3. 03

    Close the month.

Generate the billing period and every client’s line items are already there: per-user, pro-rated to the day, or equivalent-user counts, with your exclusions, contract rates, minimums, and adjustments applied in a fixed order. Review the exceptions, finalize, done.

  4. 04

    Get paid.

Invoices go out with a PDF and a payment link. Clients pay by card or ACH, or enroll in autopay and get charged automatically. Reminders chase the ones who don’t — on a schedule you set, skipping the clients you’ve told it to leave alone.

Features

Everything the monthly cycle actually needs.

  • Hourly license sync

Assignment and removal history from Microsoft Graph across every tenant you manage, on the hour. Mid-month changes are captured as they happen.

  • Three billing methods

Per-user, pro-rated to the day, or equivalent-users. Set it per contract; mix methods across your book without maintaining two processes.

  • Contracts and pricing schedules

Per-client rates, minimum monthly fees, per-user minimums, scheduled increases, and CPI-linked escalation from live BLS data.

  • Immutable finalization

A finalized period never silently changes. Corrections go through adjustments or an explicit void and regenerate, so the audit trail holds.

  • ACH autopay and discounts

Enrollment-based ACH discounts calculated to the cent, optional check fees, and automatic debits on the date and hour you configure.

  • Automated dunning

Pre-due nudges, overdue notices, and final notices, with per-client exemptions for anyone on a payment plan, in dispute, or handled personally.

  • Needs Attention

One view of what’s actionable: overdue, 60+ days, finalized but never sent, autopay that can’t fire, clients with no payment method. Counts and dollars.

  • User lifecycle

Provisioning and offboarding with templates, scheduled deletion with visible warnings, and leave-of-absence handling that keeps users off the bill.

  • Client portal

Your clients sign in with Entra SSO to submit requests, view invoices, and pay — on your own branded billing domain.

  • Client assessments

Run survey rounds across your book and score every client on revenue against effort, so the accounts that are quietly draining you become visible.

  • Exit planning

Score your readiness across the 12 diligence areas buyers examine, track 36 months of MRR movement, and work a data room checklist before you go to market.

  • Reporting

Point-in-time reports that reconstruct any past period exactly as it stood, rather than recalculating it against today’s data.

Billing you can defend line by line.

Every figure on a Bridgeview invoice traces back to a dated license event. When a client asks why the count went from 84 to 91, you open the user list, filter to the period, and show them the seven people who were added and on which day. Monetary values are floored exactly once and summed without re-rounding, so the invoice total always matches the sum of its lines.

Then it keeps going past the invoice.

Billing is the reason MSPs adopt Bridgeview and rarely the reason they stay. The same tenant connection powers user provisioning and offboarding, cross-client sign-in analysis that spots impossible-travel and unfamiliar geographies, a self-service client portal, and quoting — all against one client record instead of five disconnected tools. Further out, the same data answers harder questions: which clients earn their revenue, and what your book would look like to a buyer.

Security

Built for a business that holds other people's tenants.

  • Strict tenant isolation

Every query scoped to your MSP; no cross-provider access.

  • App-only access

Client credentials grant, no stored user refresh tokens.

  • Encrypted at rest and in transit

Secrets in AWS Secrets Manager, database in a private VPC.

  • Encrypted automated backups

Managed daily snapshots with point-in-time recovery.

FAQ

Questions providers ask first.

  • No. Bridgeview owns the path from license data to a paid invoice — it issues the invoice PDFs and exports the underlying line items as CSV for your accounting system. It sits alongside your PSA and RMM rather than replacing either.

See it against your own numbers.

Tell us how many client tenants you manage and we'll show you Bridgeview running against a book your size. Connect one tenant and compare what it finds to what you billed last month.
